Tickets to the inaugural Thrive NC presented by Blue Cross NC (Night I and Night II) are SOLD OUT. Proceeds from all ticket sales will be donated to North Carolina nonprofits that address issues related to food insecurity.

Join Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina on Thursday, May 10 and Friday, May 11 for Thrive NC. The event is an effort to address food system issues in our community. By attending the event you will be supporting lots of local organizations like A Place at the Table, Inner-Faith Food Shuttle, Raleigh City Farm and more! The event will be held in downtown Raleigh at City Market. The event will have 2 great evenings filled with food from top chefs, breweries and live music.

On May 10 the chef’s table will include Vivian Howard, from the Chef & the Farmer, Sam Jones from Sam Jones BBQ, and Teddy Diggs from Il Palio. On May 11 the chef’s table will include Andrea Reusing from the Lantern, Cheetie Kumar from Garland, and Ashley Christensen with AC Restaurants.

On Thursday the Thrive NC stage will include musical acts Kasey Tyndall and A Tribute to the Johnny Cash TV Show. On Friday Joe Kwon and Friends and Jump, Little children will be entertaining the crowd.

There will also be live demonstrations and samples from top local restaurants and breweries. Some of the participating restaurants include 18 Seaboard, 42 & Lawerence, Bida Manda, Hummingbird, Kimbap, LaFarm and Royale. Guests will enjoy samples such as Carolina Repaer Hot Chicken Sandwich, Sweet Potato Salad, Pork Belly with Ramen Broth and Truffle Mac and Cheese just to name a few. The brewery line up includes Aviator, Dogfish Head, Trophy Brewing and White Street Brewing Co.
