Most of you that know me or have been to the house know that I have a slight Lego obsession. It didn’t start last week – in fact this year marks the 30th Anniversary of the first Lego set I remember playing with as a kid. Yes – I had bricks before this one and I likely had sets before this one too but this is the very first one I remember playing with non-stop. I am honestly surprised that you can still read Lego on the top of each of the bricks.

This is the Mobile Tracking Station set number 452. It came with one space man and what had to be a vehicle for doing some type of work. In the 70s you didn’t get to go the moon for a vacation. My set is missing a brick from the back “work station” – I could replace it but like the fact that it has been missing so long I recognize my set with it gone.
